Australia
is about as large as the continental United States. Perth is geographically
equivalent to Los Angeles whereas Sydney is geographically equivalent
to Charleston, South Carolina. It takes almost 5 hours in a plane
to get from one city to the other. Almost all of Australia's 18
million inhabitants live along the coastline.
They are a
little different on the inside as well as the outside. The cereals
are less sweet than their American counterparts and the People Magazine,
I mean Who Magazine, has more Aussie celebrities in them.
The electrical outlets have their own power switch, are 220 volts, and
have different prongs than the American outlets.
The toilets have flush buttons rather than a handle. The left
is for a half flush and the right is for a full flush. You
decide when you need to use each type of flush.
The light switches turns a light on by pushing down, rather than up.
They are just big enough for a finger tip.
