Grandpa Fuhrman is teaching Ryan how to stick
out his tongue. It must be fun to be a grandparent and teach
the grandchildren all of the things Mom's and Dad's hate.
Then it's time for Grandma and Grandpa to leave after once Ryan's
learned a few new "tricks." As Bill Cosby said,
"These are not the people I grew up with. These are old
people trying to get into heaven."
Grandma Fuhrman is helping Ryan pick crab apples
off of our tree. It's fun to be suddenly taller.
Betsi and Ryan are playing by the window.
He looks so much like Betsi.
Ryan and next door neighbor, Julia Riffle.
Julia, who is two years older than Ryan, loves to play with him.
Ryan loved having a playmate and enjoyed helping himself to Julia's
toys. Unfortunately for us, Julia and her family moved outside
of Houston, Texas this Spring. We sure do miss them.
