Thanksgiving at the kiddie table.
We remember eating at the kiddie table when we were kids. It
was a first for Betsi and I to be the adults and have a kiddie table
at our house. It was a weird feeling. Ryan, and his cousins,
Jenna and Jessica, didn't mind.
Grandma and Grandpa Fuhrman gave each of the three grandkids
two presents after the Thanksgiving feast at our house. The first
was a reindeer beanie baby and the second was a book. Grandma was
playing "What's that?" with one of the books on animals.
You may see Ryan opening his presents in the low
resolution video (0.3MB) or the high
resolution video (0.9MB).
The day after
Thanksgiving was time to feed the ducks, geese, and sea gulls at the neighborhood
pond a few blocks from where we live. It was fun to see the birds
slip and slide on the frozen surface. Ryan was almost bitten by
the goose as he tried to hand feed it. Mom's quick reflexes pulled
him back in time.
