We had reached the peak of the autumn colors and I haven't even taken any photos. Other commitments and bad weather got in the way. I grabbed the camera during a dog walk and took what I could. None of the photos are special, but just a reminder the colors changed. |
October 23, Friday
|
Ryan, Tim and Timmy attend the school Fall Festival as Jeff takes pictures at the photo booth. |
October 24, Saturday
The Webelos Ree camping is held every year where multiple Boy Scouts
troops show multiple Webelos packs what fun they can
have when they continue their scouting with the Boy Scouts. The
Boy Scouts demonstrate different skills such as fire building,
cooking, ax and knife safety, etc.
Jeff and Ryan arrive Saturday morning during a break in the rain. Ryan
gets some help setting up his tent in the high winds. The wind
almost collapsed other tents. The
steady rain turned into a down pour as Mr. S. lead the boys on a one
mile compass course. They
came back dripping wet. If you have the right clothing (and wear
it), you'll stay warm and dry. See more
photos.
October 25, Sunday
Betsi repaints the dinning room while Ainsley continues to rest. Her fever keeps returning and this is the seventh day of a fever.
October 27, Tuesday
Ainsley returns to school. Betsi and Jeff do a happy dance.
October 31, Saturday, Halloween
We met for a chili dinner at Rich and Sue's house before braving
the rain. As
always, we pulled a rolling cooler of beverages in case anyone got thirsty. See more
photos.
