The "Franklin Farm Friends" are full of energy at 6:45am before the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer two day trek through Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. From left to right: Reggie, Jill, Sue, Sue, Mary, Barbara, Ellen and Betsi.

May 10, Sunday, Mother's Day

Mother's Day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.  The kids enjoyed larger rides than last time, but skipped the roller coasters.  Ryan and Ainsley watch Jeff and Betsi take turns on the Griffen.

We joined Mark and Michelle for dinner in DC at Rosa Mexicana.  We then strolled around town before the thunderstorms arrived.  See more photos.

Ainsley's "official" soccer photo of the season.  Jeff took the team photos this year..

Jeff and Ryan received a pair of tickets to see Coldplay at Nissan Pavilion from one of Betsi's coworkers.  Coldplay's music is pretty mellow which worked out well for Ryan's first concert.  The concert was good, but Ryan had a hard time staying awake near the end.  See more photos.

It was hard to believe that it was September 2005 when we last saw the Blue Angels with Karin, Mason and Lauren.  John had to go out of town unexpectedly.  See more photos.

Lauren and Ainsley paint Jeff's fingernails with Barbie nail polish.  Luckily it washes off with soap and water.
