More snow?!  This time it was 5.75 inches.  While most of the area took that Friday off from work, Jeff had a few deadlines waiting for him.  Luckily the roads were clear and the commute was much better than average.

Ryan is enjoying swim lessons again.  He really wants to venture in the deep end where he sees other kids playing, but doesn't know how to swim yet.  Ryan's class is concentrating on getting their face wet, blowing bubbles under water, kicking, jumping into the water, and floating on their backs.

    Sunday, February 16th

We received 12" of snow within 13 hours.  We are expecting another 24 hours of continued snow fall.  Ryan had a double ear infection, so Betsi took him to the emergency room last night at 1:00am.  The snow hadn't started yet.  By the time they left around 3:00am, a few inches of snow had fallen covering everything.  Betsi could tell she was driving on the road instead of the median because the snow was smoother.  Scary.  By the next morning, you never would have known about his ear infection.

The snow is taller than the deck. It's almost to the top of the bushes. It covered the deck chairs.

The snow and sleet stopped on the 17th for these photos.  It later snowed another inch or so to make it a total of 24".  If it didn't sleet, we could have had as much as 30".  The storm rated as the 5th largest snowfall the area has ever seen.  We didn't go back to work until the 19th.
