It takes so long for
the ball to reach the pins. It's like watching grass grow
Ryan got a spare!
One of Ryan's classmates held his birthday party at a
bowling alley. The kids had a great time. On the left is Ryan's
wife, Kayla, who loved to twirl around as she waited for the ball to reach
the pins. In September or October last year, Betsi went to pick
up Ryan from preschool. His teacher told her that Ryan married Kayla
earlier that day and they were hugging and dancing. During bowling,
Jeff talked to Kayla's Dad and he said that the boys in the class pay
a lot of attention to her.

didn't know about the rule that you only bowl with your ball. Oh,
well.
A snow angle in front
of Jeff's snow shoveling efforts
On Sunday, January 5th, we had our third "big"
snow fall of the winter with 3.75 inches. The others were December
5th and 25th.
We had several other snows for the rest of the month,
but they were barely enough to cover the ground. Our cable TV cable
was cut and another one need to be laid. The multiple snows delayed
digging over and over and over. Our neighbors have been without
cable for almost two months. Because of the neighborhood trees,
satellite TV isn't an option for us.
