We flew to Florida for a 5 day trip to see Betsi's
Dad and Step Mom, Jeff's Grandmother, and a day trip to Busch Gardens
Tampa.
The kids enjoyed the beach on Sanibel
Island on the Gulf of Mexico near Ft. Myers. Ryan had
more fun building castles out of driftwood while Ainsley loved walking
backward as she sat in her floatie.
Ainsley enjoys getting tickled by Jeff's grandmother at
her house in Largo. I have a lot of childhood memories of visiting
my grandparents at this house and now my kids get to have to have some
too.
The kids were getting restless, so we visited a nearby
park with a lot of things to play with. They slept well that night.
We took very few pictures and video of Busch Gardens,
so there isn't much to show. All of us had a great time. There
were kiddie play areas, safari animals, and lots of rides for the kids.
Mommy and Daddy even rode some of the roller coasters. We stayed
from opening to close (10:00am to 7:00pm) and had a great time.
