Ryan enjoys
the farm at Frying Pan Park, which is only 2 miles from our house.
As a bit of trivia, the presidental turkey that is pardoned each Thanksgiving
will live at this park the remainder of his/her life.
Herndon was
a bunch of farms in the 1960s before neighborhoods started sprouting up.
Our subdivision is Franklin Farm (named after the Franklin family) which
was a dairy farm. Many of the neighboring subdivisions were also
farms (Bradley Farms, McNaire Farms).
