Slow, Over-Sized and Expensive
Color laser printers aren't suited for home use. They take half the desk space, stand as tall as the monitor, and the toner runs in the hundreds of dollars. I have a 30ppm monochrome laser at work and 17ppm tests my patience for anything over 4 pages. I would go nuts with an 8ppm printer.
