In mid-March,
Jeff's parent's took all of us on a cruise to the western Caribbean.
This was their 4th cruise and our first. The week long trip
started in Miami and then included a private beach on Haiti, Jamaica,
Grand Cayman, Cozmel, Cancun and then back to Miami.
Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas - Wow!
The 11th and
12th decks included two pools, a two story, open air restaurant, plenty
of places to lay in the sun, a couple of bars and live music entertainment.
Here
is the center of the ship where everyone first walks on board.
There are two formal dining rooms, 3 theaters, at least a dozen
bars with different themes, a dance club, gift shops, exercise room,
a basketball court, a casino, and more.
The Cozmel
and Cancun ports of call enjoyed some of the best weather and best photographs.
Dad and Aaron went scuba diving and took the picture of the fish.
Cozmel is one of the most beautiful areas of the world for scuba diving
and by looking at the water, you can see why.
Each night, we'd meet at our assigned table
for the 8:00pm dinner and talk about what each of us did that day.
Each dinner was a 5 course gourmet meal that included filet mignon,
lobster, duck, salmon, and shrimp. Just forget about any diet
that you were on before the cruise. Our service was outstanding.
They said if they weren't providing outstanding service, then they
weren't doing their jobs.
